Notes: A heavy bow, very straight when un-strung. The material this bow is made from is a sort of dense plywood which is made for mounting heavy electrical switchgear. It looks like wood, indeed it looks very nice, and it doesn't give any unfair advantage. So why not? For this bow I've used it “on edge”, that is, with the plane of the laminations in the plane of the bow. It doesn't seem to make any difference. I will supply this bow with either a dacron or a fastflight string, the fastflight giving slightly better performance (but it is teal green). If you use the full 32” draw then expect to have a few problems with the grip coming unglued. This shouldn't be much trouble if you can use a tube of glue.
